2014 / 2015 Internship Program - Humana Challenge (Rancho Mirage, CA)

2014/2015 Humana Challenge Internship Program

Humana Challenge Overview
Humana, the Clinton Foundation and the PGA TOUR share a commitment to take on today’s health concerns through the Humana Challenge pro-am PGA TOUR event. In support of this effort, the tournament aims to raise awareness by challenging participating pros, amateurs, celebrities, volunteers, spectators, and millions of viewers around the country to take an active role in their own well-being. During the past 55 years, the tournament has generated more than $52.5 million to the Eisenhower Medical Center and surrounding Coachella Valley nonprofit organizations.

Program Overview
The Humana Challenge internship program allows students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and the opportunity to play an important role in the execution of a PGA TOUR event. Interns become an extension of the full time staff at the Humana Challenge and are given the chance to learn the inner workings of a major sporting event through hands on experience.

Eligibility Requirements
All candidates must receive academic credit to be eligible. Exact schedule is somewhat flexible and based upon the student’s availability. As the tournament nears, a 7-day work-week will be required. Each position will require overtime.
